Yep, that is a fair summary I had to do some qualifying runs at lower speeds, I rode a ZX10, a nitrous Busa to 201, and finally the turbo Busa.

Took my bike to Wheels in Peterborough yesterday having snapped the exhaust valve return cable (It rusted and snapped)

Excellent service squeezing me in with almost no notice given due to me being away on tour this weekend. Even sorted me a loan bike so that I could go for a morning fry up and ride out with an old mate of mine

There is a possibility I was a bit big for it...



What I couldnt believe was how punchy the little z650 was initially. Averaging 60mpg and getting upto 80mpg on the motorway. Fine upto 90mph and upto 60mph it had plenty of go for a new rider.

Beer tokens for anyone that can tell where we rode to! 25+ degrees, 80 miles riding and just soaking up the great local roads, weather and cake



I see this parked when we stopped. Really liked it! Almost in places looks like a custom build like it was done in a small workshop and yet thats how it is...great bike there

That's only a rumour started by him. As far as I know no one has actually seen him on it and some 8 months later the dealer has not seen it back for it's 600 mile service. It's vanished....

I think he got it, took one look at the bars/riding position and put it back in the garage never to be seen again.

I sat on 1 at the dealers and the riding position felt more extreme than my track bike.

I don't know if the bars from the MT 09 could be fitted.

I think they come from Yamaha like this and the dealer then fits the "kit"

I think he did something to the bars to make it more comfortable before putting it back in the garage, never to be seen again
