Spotted this couple out yesterday.
I’m not knocking them for enjoying a motorcycling tour, but at what point do you say “nope - that’s too much stuff for a bike”?
Don’t let the wife do the packing...
I'm reminded of some posts in the "The friendly "dumb" bike questions" thread where some folks are saying they're far more confident turning left than right. Is there a connection here?I’m not knocking them for enjoying a motorcycling tour, but at what point do you say “nope - that’s too much stuff for a bike”?

I'm wanting to book my first trackday, something I've been meaning to do for the last couple of years but keep putting it off.
Just wondering if you guys would recommend one company over another? So far I've been looking at no limits, focused events and MSVT, is any 1 company better than the other or are they all very similar?
As I live about 1hr away from Donington this is where I'll be looking at going, I assume it would be fine for a novice?
I keep thinking 'what if' and over thinking what might happen so its time to just book it and get it done!

Got the fleet out for a photo today. Great weather and the rest of the week off work.
Also a quick question:
I only use the 600F for trackdays now and I’ve been running the track compound SC’s. Amazing btw. The track only use has led to a problem;
All the wear is pretty much on the shoulders, to the point that they’re “V’ed-off”. How do you tell how much rubber is left in the shoulder when there’s no dots to check like on slicks?

got any cheapo after market brake levers/pedals on your bike?

this failed on the mot brake test this morning. Which is a fail. Which means you can't ride home. Fortunately no harm done (I am a rear brake fan so glad it happened when it did and not on road/track) and tester managed to fashion a repair and a pass.

I’m one of them. I’m still waiting for you to teach me so I can be as cool as you!
McKean can't wheelie either, so you're in good company.^ well buy my Transalp and stick a loud pipe on it as a cheap alternative!

Doesn’t have quite the same rally raid coolness I’m afraid, though it does look pretty good for a transalp!https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273138670998?ssPageName...
