Managed to take the twins out for a short run a little while back. They're loud, they're imperfect, and they're just raw beasts. Vivid reminders of just how awesome superbikes can be before all the electronics have neutered the latest generation.
Ferkin' love that SP2!spareparts said:

I'm sure I've told you this before SP but just in case I haven't...there's a small part of me that really, really hates you...spareparts said:

Neutered? I dunno maybe, but certainly faster, stronger, and more accessible.Typical old person "fear change" viewpoint, I'll bet you remember when this was all fields as well?
Also, sweep up your leaves. Bloody disgrace.

You crashed that too!
Not quite thankfully, as it’ll hurt with the amount of rocks here and I’m riding in shirts amd T-shirt, as we all know we’re invincible when on holiday curlie467 said:
You been or going to any trail centres?
Nope, just finding my own way. These tracks are about 5 miles from the villa, so good to explore. Got a shedload of mountains too, but I think that’s a bit much at the moment. My plan is to ride from Peyia to the end of the Akamas Peninsula then over to Latsi / Polis, then hitch a ride back over the top, as I’d die if I tried to ride over the mountains on a MTB with Offroad tyres. Day off so got out for a few miles. It was about 7 degrees and the roads were patchy damp but it was alright. Still in leathers with summer gloves and didn't get too cold.
Just fitted some new EBC HH pads in the 6R and it has improved the brakes massively, they are easily on a par with the Brembos on my Aprilia.
