I'm there next week.
Have fun John.

The piccie looks a bit empty of other bikes. No Limits (I know the piccie might not be a NL event) are conplaining about struggling to sell out their more recently announced dates - 38 Euro events for 2018 has officially saturated the market!!

I think the fact they overlap is part of the issue. Plus people seem to love to go back to the same old places again and again.

I’d love to go on the open pitlane at Portimao at the end of June, but the price is just too much with the add ons. £800 is fair enough, but single supplement, an extra night and local collection / drop off add over £200 to it, which just makes it too much.

Only 15 people booked on it at the moment too, you could do three days and barely see anyone on track.

Cheers, I will try my best to have fun.

38 Euro dates is a lot, I bet McKean is booked on most of them.

My lot love Aragon and I fkn hate it.

This will be my second time at Jerez and I'm looking forward to having some fun with the lads after last years wrong group disaster.

Jerez is generally a sure-fire sellout for TD companies and the March and November ones are certainly one for the regulars who book them on a 'see you next year' basis but they've gone a bit mad on sheer number of events this year.

There's a limited number of people who want / can do these events (lots of familiar faces on the events I manage to attend), there's certainly a limited number of them who are prepared to be adventurous (i.e. visit a new venue), they've all got a limited amount of holiday time and money and all are battling the drip feed on how the events are released.

I'd love to do Portimao open pit rather than a crowded 4 group event but organising 7 riders my end (with partners in addition) you need to commit at some point on holiday time / flights etc

Hopefully Mark's fingers aren't too badly toasted.

Has anyone done Misano with Rehm Racedays?

I’m tempted to book on and drive down with a mate, but can’t find any noise limits. Yet there is a warning in poorly translated English which says it’s quiet but no actual figures given

It was very empty (which is great for me as I'm still trying to learn). 14 odd people in my group, and obviously not everyone goes out every session.

Wheres the fly screen??? Loved my Hyperstrada, great versatile bit of kit with enough power to ride like a tt and not lose your licence and play 'light up the TC' whenever you can lol

Yeah previous owner took lots of bits off as he likes the hypermoto look. Got them all in a box. Riding it is brilliant fun, and it sounds ace.

Seems a bit weird to do that to a Multi rather than buying a Monster, looks pretty good though! Congrats. smile

So that's a Hyperstrada. The Hypermotard is the less touring and more Supermoto focused version of the same bike.

Ah, makes sense as it looks like the pannier mounts have gone as well, I'd pop the little screen back on as it makes quite a bit of difference smile

Yeah I’m going to have to put the rack back on for practicality, I think. At the moment it has clean lines at the back

Original with all the gubbins. I like the fact it can be practical; I use it for work daily so need to carry stuff.

Obligatory pics from a crash fest at Brands this evening. 4 sessions. 3 stoppages...

Pretty obvious DC2s are dual compound

That’s hot or cold tear, not a different compound on the rear. You need to adjust pressures or suspension.

Was that hot or cold pressure? If cold then way too high, if hot then probably knock another 5-6 out of it at least. A lot of it depends on the pace you’re running too

The best person to ask is the tyre guy at track, he’ll know the correct pressures for your specific tyre.

I think I set mine at about 19 cold in the rear and try to keep it around 25 maximum.
