Was that about or cold pressure? If cold then way too high, if hot then probably knock another 5-6 out of it at least. A lot of it depends on the pace you’re running too
The best person to ask is the tyre guy at track, he’ll know the correct pressures for your specific tyre.
I think I set mine at about 19 cold in the rear and try to keep it around 25 maximum.
32 was cold down from 42 std. The best person to ask is the tyre guy at track, he’ll know the correct pressures for your specific tyre.

I’m middle of inters group but probably 16st with leathers.
Will try dropping right down next time like you suggest.

It’s way too high then. Nothing wrong with being 16 stone, I’m there without leathers, try not to let your imagination run riot though I’m middle of inters group but probably 16st with leathers.

Lol. Will give the lower psi a try.
Any suggestions for front pressure?
Again, the tyre guy should be your first port of call. I go 28 cold, but again it’s tyre dependant. Any suggestions for front pressure?
This was good, although it’s a few years old now so the tyres have been superseded. See how much the recommended pressures vary though

Obligatory pics from a crash fest at Brands this evening. 4 sessions. 3 stoppages...
Pretty obvious DC2s are dual compound
Out of curiousity what did she noise test at? Baffles in / out? Pretty obvious DC2s are dual compound
I ran those tyres at 30psi front / 28psi rear cold as a starting point.
That’s inters, but I’m not 16 stone ... I’m not a powerfully built director

Didn’t check today but previously tested at 102db with out. Frustratingly the exhaust didn’t come with baffles so I bought some, especially, for the 1st TD on it only for it to test at 95db with them in! So took them straight out and got 102db...

I'm sick of installing the baffles for TD's ... its done 98db with baffles in both times at Oulton Park. I really should get it tested without as the bike is much smoother, most bikes are louder as well on track! I bet it'd be fine. Like you say there's always something else louder, normally Dukes...Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
