Last full day of temperatures in the mid 20's, back to cold wet and windy Englad tomorrow night

Are you trackdaying, or just feet up in the winter sun?

Yep, a friend has a holiday home near there in Fugerolles, we go there with them a couple of times a year, tho this year maybe the last as my wife's friend has been diagnosed with ALS and has not had a good prognosis.

Yup, being sold by a bike shop, I wouldn't ride it to the end of the road like that.

Even I couldn’t do something that stupid. Enjoy the ride and the wobbly rear wheel

Wow, actually on display like that? I'd be a bit concerned to be honest!

Not in-common, used to be something you'd check at scrutineering, especially where a fast track follows a slower one & riders have changed gearing - the adjuster and the lock nut.

The new tyre would give clues here. Amateur mistake all the same.

yes I have done, silly mistake yes maybe but that's safety critical and could have huge consequences if the wheel moved whilst riding.

Wee lad's Xmas present arrived today... Will put it together closer the time.. Not sure it would be worth the full price but lovely toy for £65

To look like this (hopefully);

It'll do until he's big enough for an Oset next year!

Engine rebuild started on the LC, some early Xmas pressies on their way to me but ill have to stagger the parts n work spend out over a few months due to the recent 500 build, this Xmas malarky and Yamaha parts prices...Friend of mine armed with a suitable tap set cleaned up the threads on the engine mounts this afternoon before I forgot about them come engine refitting time.
