Never seen one of these up close before, its a Moto Morini 1200 V twin Scrambler. It was waiting to be put on the dyno for a new map, as its Cat had been cut open, gutted and rewelded back up again. Sounded nice, raspy but not too loud as it retained its original silencers.

Bloody mobile roadblock, it was trying to get its end away with the cows and I was stuck for 15 minutes until a van came past and pushed it out of the way and I followed it through, turning round wasn't an option as it was a 30 mile detour home hehe

Also don't be tempted to buy Bridgestone S20 tyres unless you like changing them every 1200 miles, they came new on the bike and are below the wear indicators already on the rear, which is st for a lightweight bike.

Good call too, on closer inspection that's not a cow.

A couple of points. Firstly, you should immediately start a thread in SP&L about your bike being cloned, as your numberplate is clearly visible in that photo. Obviously, it’s normally completely invisible.

Secondly, you need to learn how to lean a bike and deal with those 18 inch chicken strips.

In summary, pussy wink

The reg is PF18FNC if anyone can't make it out in the pics smile, and yes I am a pussy, but only because I'm afraid to tackle a ton and a half of pissed off steak with balls like footballs!

One of my lot must've taken a picture of us in Southend and submitted it to Fast Bike

I didn't even know until I see the article and my bikes bang at the front

Nice to see you back and good luck with the Mod 1. Let us know how you get on. I know you've had a few “antics” in your driving/riding history, but it is genuinely good to know you’re pressing ahead with your bike licence.
Cheers guys, hope all is well with you smile I’ll stick a thread up of my progress when I pass Mod 1 (confident you see)

Yeah I’ve slowed down with the antics over the last couple of years but looking forward to getting back to it as I’ll be going for a supermoto when I’m passed, an XT660 or some KTM variant both feature very highly on my list wink

I had a nice play out today. 36C hottest temperature and 16C coldest.

I really have to make a video of this footage one day but it just takes so much time to edit.

Bought a new hat yesterday and it’s brilliant in more ways than one. Not convinced yet about the colour but it may have already saved my life and I’d never know it.

I'm looking to get a pair of the Duke 2s to replace our ageing Bell flip up touring lids. Currently bright orange, going for the fluoro yellow, like you, I suspect such colours have already made my life far easier than it may have been!

Your pix and reference to loads of footage reminded me of mine - a couple of video captures:

And while I haven't edited any video, a friend send me these. Apparently he was on his way home and fully loaded-up with 2 full and bulging panniers and a big roll-back on the back too. He thinks the speeds are all legal smile

New endurance bike bought. Need a larger tail unit if anyone knows of one going spare.

Bloody photos are always cockeyed on here.

Ooooh, a three-piece patch, hope that's been properly sanctioned....

(Actually it's technically a four-piece. Does this mean the wearer is actually 'arder than all of them put together?)

On the topic, my good lady bought a new lid and wanted a fluro yellow one for the safety aspect but the salesman in the (J&S)shop said that some tests had concluded orange stands out more than the fluro yellow ...no idea how true that is but i can see her miles back, usually doing bang on the speed limit or just under and rapidly going out of intercom range...biggrin

BTT...they do look a quality bit of kit.
