I don't like straps round the bar like that.
After seeing a bar snap at Croft because of it, totaled the bike.
BN or some of the others can best advise on where to put them.
Well, I guess during the past 20 years of using those, several pairs, on god knows how many bikes and for tens of thousands of miles, I must have just been dead lucky. After seeing a bar snap at Croft because of it, totaled the bike.

Or maybe I didn't use them on bikes with damaged or st components.
Anyway, I got my new purchase home and that's what matters!

Fair enough. Or maybe I didn't use them on bikes with damaged or st components.

Hah. Well, I parked first so it wasn't my fault. You may also notice the amount of water underneath mine. That's because we had to stop so I could wash a coconut-sized bird sh*t off my arm and bike. It was f*cking massive. It f*cking stunk like only a coconut-sized piece of sh*t can and it f*cking hurt when it hit me.

Are those PR5s? How are you finding them? I've got Power RS on mine at the moment and they're a great tyre but I seem to have gone through them like a hot knife through butter. Something a little longer lasting wouldn't go amiss.

Apologies for poor quality pics, using the phone as a sat nav on the BMW has apparently wrecked the camera..
A frosty and a bloody cold start (for me ) yesterday, our merry band from the VJMC made our way to Cadwell for the last CRMC meet of 2018, in the spirit of all things VJMC , I "borrowed" my good ladies CBR , was fortunate enough to get out on the track for a good few "parade " laps, which usually are just that but after a couple of goes around, we all found some clear space here and there and got to get a bit of speed for the majority of it, enough to have 2 or 3 of our number go off the track and a guest in the pace car throw up at the end! One of those that ran off apparently lost it right at the mountain and right front of the VJMC tent..
Never been to Cadwell before but I can now see why people rate it so highly, CBR was great on the track and on the journey too and fro.
Was quite amusing lining up in the paddock area with a 2 up RD400, a DT250 and a Kettle but everyone had a good crack...which is what its all about.
