So, over the weekend I put a deposit down on one of these bounce

I have been after something sportier / fun for a while now and have kept on changing my mind a fair bit, but then I found Wheels Motorcycles in Peterborough offering them £5k below list, it was too tempting.

I know that the rumours are that the 2019 RF will be 1100cc and circa 220bhp to take on the Ducati V4 and that we are in for snowmageddon from next week, but hey, you only live once.

I will post some actual pictures once I pick it up, hopefully in a couple of weeks time.
Beautiful bike and a decent warranty package from that place. I got mine from there and they've looked after me

I think it'll be 2020 on what you said. I'm 90% sure I'll change to a 19 tuono factory as it'll be the final of that variant before an all new one and I don't fancy having the first new model with teething issues

My 16 has been brilliant and upto nearly 16,500 miles now

Said our last goodbyes to a good friend of mine yesterday. Had his old race bike in the pub for the wake.
It sounded lovely
Was that in manchester on Saturday or Sunday?! The book case looks familiar, along with curtains, and i was pushing the lad past as i saw people rolling a bike into the pub.. But only saw the back of it.

A picture of my cherished Moto Guzzi V50 this morning.

It vanished overnight so all I have left is the keys, V5 and oily patch on the drive. frown

Here's a video of it in action note the unusual black exhaust - Reg TMM126Y - in case anyone comes across it please pm me.

Thanks. She's not bad for a 10 year old grand dame compared to all these new Panigirlies with their anti-wheelie this, engine braking control, and such like! biggrin Cabled throttles FTW.

I'm pleased to say it was recovered but the electrical system is in a mess (more so than normal that is!)

Good news. If that's all that's wrong with it, then brilliant! Normally they get spray painted by the chavs so that they can't be recognised.

After a whole Summer of breakdowns , eventually got the 350 on the road today, had a chap called Dave Whattam who i'm sure many of you may know fit and set up a power dynamo kit to the bike, ripping out all the old electrical components and much of the wiring in the process.

After some ignition and carb tweaks its now making 46BHP at the tyre on Daves dyno, which doesnt sound but IIRC Yamaha only claimed 47BHP as standard, fits much fitter and wheelies nicely again...and it starts n runs!

Managed one last ride on the CRF250L before Winter kicks in. Although I was surprised by snow this morning, so that nearly put me off! My main thought was, can I get the bike onto the trailer without falling over...

I drove out to Ganaraska Forest, which is 11,000 acres of bloody amazing trails. Everything from wide fire roads, to fast dual track, to tight and technical single track through the forest. I have some trails near my house but this place is really worth the drive! The CRF does really well here, just the right amount of power, especially for my skill level.

Two things worth mentioning. I installed some tie down strap rings to both the bike forks and the trailer, best few quid I've ever spent! They are rated to 2,000lbs so are pretty strong, and now my tie downs don't bounce loose. Also got a Kriega tail pack, which comes in very handy for wallet, phone, keys etc. I also managed to fit a rain jacket in there. Now I don't have to wear a backpack, which is good.
