Yes, that garage certainly does look flash. Does he have underfloor heating?

This is still one of my favourite photos, not just here on PH, but ever. It never fails to put a stupid grin on my face! It’s absolutely brilliant.

Yeah, but is he happy? I mean, really, REALLY happy?

I’ll bet he bloody is! I’d like to be irritated, but no doubt he’s one of those dead nice guys, no airs or graces, lovely wife and kids, donates to charity, rescues puppies and kittens... just once, why can’t these guys be utter wkers, just so I can feel better about my (not even st) life?!

Spent the weekend trying to finish the garage, nearly done. So happy I now have a space to work on the bikes!

It is. I especially like the chaise longue. Nice touch...

I need a garage/big shed, when I eventually get somewhere more permanent.

So I picked up my new toy this weekend, I know the new 2019 RSV4 is now 1100cc and 15bhp more, but if I am honest I am not a fan of the wings and this is more than enough performance for my capabilities, plus the dealer was offering a significant discount to shift his 2018 stock before the new 2019 bikes arrive in showrooms.

Last pic is old and new together with my tatty VFR that I commute on.

Still running it in, but the turning / handling is almost telepathic and the sounds is glorious.

Did a quick trip up Bokor mountain. Hardly any traffic with a few backpackers wobbling around on auto scooters.

30km of twisties!

Only a couple of mm of chicken strips left. I was a bit nervous cranking it right over wearing shorts and flip flops an all.

Got a few odd looks leant right over, from locals as well.
Google maps says 40 mins to the top, which is what my mate does on his Harley. I did it in 30 mins! In your face 1100cc.

Poor 125cc step thru was hot as feck.

November is the time to grab a bargain on these RSV4's. I did the same last year, picked up a new 2017 bike at a saving of £4k! Enjoy! I only use mine on track but I absolutely love it. Just wish I had a bit more leg room.

To be fair (and if you read The Lounge you'll see the same story over and over again), about 5 years ago I got divorced, went from a nice house with a big garage to a poxy apartment with a communal garage. It was a very expensive change, I got the kids every other week and ferried them around in an old diesel estate.

It's taken me the last five years to find someone new, move to a nicer place, build my dream garage (it's not huge but I love it), and buy a few cheap, used bikes to tinker with. Plus rescue my Dad's old Speed Triple from France when he passed away last year. I'm a pretty down to earth person, and just worked my arse off to get back on my feet.

To save money I did all the insulation and stuff in the garage myself, it's taken a few months of doing it after work each day. Also just did my back in doing it ha ha. My neighbour is in the process of buying a Harley, which is worth more than all of my bikes put together.

But yes, I appreciate the ribbing. beer

Amazing bike Dakkon, well done! Those things are a weapon, and well beyond my skills.

I followed one of these on the way home tonight.

I'd never heard of the Quadro 4D before, but it sounds like they're quite good if you like to ride hard in all conditions or want to build your counter-steering skills.

If you can't ride a two wheeled motorcycle without falling off buy a car.

Looks heavy and expensive.
