Bought a new lid today, only the second time ive deviated from an Arai in 30 ofd years as my main lid.
Fit is perfect but despite being on the LC and not doing much over 80, the noise inside it is like a sitting outside on a windy day...if I deviate my head from my natural position its fine but otherwise its not good as it is.
Ill have a try with it on the BMW at some stage but if the results are not good, anyone wanting a worn twice shoei in a medium gloss black, keep you eyes peeled here!
Bizarre. I have a GT-Air and it is the quietest helmet I've ever owned.Fit is perfect but despite being on the LC and not doing much over 80, the noise inside it is like a sitting outside on a windy day...if I deviate my head from my natural position its fine but otherwise its not good as it is.

More riding in Scotland Did a vintage (girder forks only) run In Aberdeenshire/Banffshire on Saturday. Absolutely bitter cold. Riding through hail at times and patches of snow at the side of the roads from an overnight dusting. Plus the gritters had been out so it took a couple of hours yesterday to de-salt the bike. But a great run and great roads - and some of the old stuff (bikes and rides!) fairly nip along

Awesome stuff, really would love a try of something REALLY old like those...A mate of mine posted this on Facebook yesterday, some memories here
Taken at the TT in 1990,check out those fashions and haircuts
Pic taken at Brandywell , sadly a mate of ours had been killed there the previous year and we we were up there mounting a plaque in his remembrance on the Marshall's hut.
A lad on the pic sold his rg500 following the crash to buy a tzr250 to go racing.
He went onto become a multiple British champion

Sold my Bell M5X Carbon which I never really got on with, and new lid arrived today. Really chuffed with it, fits like a glove.
