Just on YouTube watching videos and I’ve got some bad news for BN. Suzuki are officially using the name GIXXER!

Furriners have been using it for a bit. Spotted it whilst backpacking in India 5 years ago.

Not found anyone else on the planet yet that eats dinner before 5pm though! hehe

Finally got my bike back together nearly 6 months after I last rode it properly. Brook suspension did a great job on the forks, the brushed finish on the lowers really suits the bike. MOT tomorrow then a weekend of riding.

Priscilla on a v4... Better ring to it than a Doris on a twin smile

Bought a new R1250GS Adventure 3 weeks ago. Let's see what all the fuss is about from the "Beards"

Currently on board the Fast Cat to Cherbourg for 10 days away in France, Spain , Portugal.

Home around 4th or 5th and should have 3700 miles on by then. We shall know by then if it does what they say it does.

Cant upload a proper photo as they are all too large and I cant resize them on my phone.

Went for a ride this morning - the GSXR lacks character compared to the v4 but for an IL4 it does have a nice induction and pulls like a trooper from 10k to 14k

I still think the WC integration into the TC is pita

No picture unfortunately

Agreed. It’s a bit vague from the manual as well how the setting affects wheelie control.

I’m considering going to V4 next. Every time I see / hear an RSV4 / Tuono I want one ... biggrin

Few pics from todays 2T ,meet at the Ace Cafe...weather wasnt great(in fact it was ste for some of it) so not so many about vs previous years but some cool n noisy toys present as always...

Great photos there! : thumbup:

I was driving up from Sandhurst to Cambridgeshire today, and stopped at my local Tesco to fuel up for the trip when a blue Suzuki X7 with spannies pulled in to top up. I had a chat with him (it seems he's my postie) and he was on his way to the Ace.

Then I stopped at Baldock services at the end of the A1(M) and that's where those 2 RDs were meeting on their way down so I had a chat with them as well, seeing as I was a serial RD owner in the past!

Quite a coincidence, but it was just great to see some 2-strokes out and about - God how I miss my KH500! frown
I can remember my last bike, a 900 fireblade well but the one i miss the most is the one that tried to kill me the most, my old 350LC.

happy chappy - passed my test on friday and picked up my first bike yesterday.

had been looking at a 18 plate honda nc750 or 15 plate triumph tiger 800, but after looking at insurance quotes i decided i'd go with something cheap to get a bit more experience before buying something expensive - ended up under £1500 all in for the bike, tax and insurance

I've worked it out that basically for every tc you reduce the wc is less intrusive. TC on 1 means the wc basically is nothing... Problem being so is the tc

I was being a fairy due to tyre choice and had it in 4. Light never flashed but it wouldn't wheelie much either
