9 years ago on the longest day. 3 of us had an engine off freewheel race from hartside to melberby.

I won by having the heaviest bike

New bike purchased, after what should have been an hours round trip and getting stuck on the m25 and not moving for 3 hours the only picture i have at the moment is one from the add.

Can't wait to get some miles on it!
Looks bent to me :-)

How funny! I did this last year on tour going down a huuuuge hill from Switzerland. I think I reached 80mph at one point and managed a good few miles

Went mx sunday. Last time was March & decided to keep it fairly local at Chippenham

My hands were red roar and blistered after just 4 motos. Two days later I am walking like I shat myself. So impressed with the latest CRF250 DOHC engine vs the older Unicam. Truly are rev monsters and pull so much better than tech from just 7-10 years ago.

Monday went for a bimble with another ex mxer and piginawig who got what we thought was some great videoing only to find the camera was being blocked by part of the helmet!

Was too hot though and by midday I was ready to come home. Cleaned the bike in 33 degrees and had a cold bbq a cold beer followed by a few more

That’ll be Rollie Free at Bonneville on the Vincent...Black lightening or Black shadow.

He used to race Indians, which gives a link to Burt Munro and his record breaking Indian, also at Bonneville.

Or him and bike semi-nekked

I don't remember how fast I got up to but I do recall having to brake for a few hairpins.

My 380GT has been leaking fuel so I stripped the carbs down expecting the floats to be stuck. Turns out to a varying degree they've all corroded through at the bottom. Can only think it's where the brass floats touch the aluminium carbs bodys when the float chamber is empty.

While I'm waiting for the new floats I thought it would be rude not to give the carbs a proper clean
