Had a couple of weeks off work so I decided to design my own paddock stands. Should make packing the van or stillage a bit easier.

Looks a great machine to go touring on once the restrictions are lifted.

Both 4 valves? Having two pipes makes for a simpler cylinder head casting?
Some were (pre-war), but it was mostly fashion, I think.
The Honda XBR500 is the same, but the KTM 390 and 690 4 valve singles only have one pipe.
Indeed.

Herewith gratuitous pic of her indoors with her XBR500.

I saw these on FB and thought they were a good idea, I know all the tts came out and said they don’t have troubles with storing them and so on but I certainly can see the benefits.

Cheers. There certainly loads of tts but there’s also loads of people who said nice things too which is good! Not even fussed if I sell any to be honest, I just wanted to make more space in my van!

Third time lucky. Little bit of maintenance, ZZR valve clearances. Fun job!

Forgive me Lord, once again, I have fallen to temptation, lured in by a pretty face.

Wow - looks totally different without the horrid fairing & legshields.

Still needs a big flat lens headlight rather than what looks like a Superdream pattern one.

That looks great, really gucci!

Most folk with vans probably don't struggle for space, but I imagine anyone using a trailer + car would find that a bit easier. It's also a nice bit of well-made kit, regardless of whether you need the space it's sometimes nice to have snazzy things.

Nice looking bike.

I had to look twice. Thought it was a V50.

Really like this. I've recently been regretting buying an all black helmet and want something brighter but it'll have to wait for now

Loving the look of these. For the last 10 years I have had an 01 FJR1300 that is in great condition, well looked after and mechanically sound with every extra but worthless because of age to the point that i'll be lucky to get £1k for it if i trade it in. Anyways, the internet surfing itch is strong for one of these and i am going to test one when we are allowed out to play again.

Never owned a Kwak either but my Autotrader search is set for green ones only!

There seems to be a lack of really lairy helmets these days. I lost the side plate (that covers the visor mechanism) off my favourite Suomy the other day on the way to work and I don't know what to replace it with frown

It's getting on a bit now so is due replacement anyways I guess, but I'm gutted that's its not complete anymore

You tried reaching out to them to see if they might happen to have a piece knocking about somewhere??? you might be able to get a blank and have it painted up to match the other side? lovely lid that is tho!
