A picture a day...biker banter (Vol 5)
Discussion
Managed to get out for my first ride in daylight since doing my CBT and went for a wee run with my friend with his yamaha. These 125s are quite silly fun, once you're out of town you're just flat out everywhere whether you like it or not. Got a good mix of riding in, dual carriageway, b-roads etc. Weather was crap so it wasn't the longest run ever but it was fun. Even managed to get 70mph GPS verified out of it

I met Loon once in '16 when I first started doing track days but not seen him on track since
I see him regularly through the summer as we have a few rideouts and the odd TD together (although not this year), he's sold all his bikes now and is in Cyprus for the winter.Edit I've had a look back and its olly22n, JBL and Andy XRV
So left to right, BN, Fleegle, ???, ???, Loon & Mitzy, McKean, ??? and Andy XRV?

Was it Fleegle who had the ZX10 in the red, white and green colour scheme? My favourite looking BB trackbike, that was. Edit I've had a look back and its olly22n, JBL and Andy XRV

Fleegle had a yellow 2nd gen R1 at the time if I remember correctly.
It was a good fun easy going day and my first ever TD.

I hope he gets another bike for next year, something upright will be better for someone his age and size We both know he's a different person when he's not posting on here, he's a good egg really

Went out Sunday morning for a 'quick' bit of seat time which ended up being over 160 miles. Dont know how time goes so quick!
Roads were lovely in Essex given the time of year but further into Cambridge, Bury St Edmonds and so on it was foggy, wet, muddy and horrible!
Heated gloves (Again thank you to those who recommended Gerbing as they are amazing!!) meant with my textiles I never felt any cold
Towards the end we parked up at a McDonalds for a quick coffee and see another group of bikers out. There was a gen 2 and gen 3 SDR parked next to each other and for someone like me that doesn't pay much attention to KTM I couldnt believe how different they are! Like the entire bike is revamped.
Speaking with them they go about the same but the gen 3 does it all smoother and better
