Keep an eye on pipe werx Stu.
I know at the mo they only have a long system with 2 cans, but hoping the numbers of V4 Pan and SF's will create demand for more manufacturers to put a nice package together.

I know of Pipewerx from my days in the paddock.

Currently looking at Arrow, Termi, Akra, Zard & MIVV, plus there's a Leeds one called 'Jester' I've never heard of before.

I'll get the bike run in & serviced with the standard can first.

Thought I'd put some pics of my 2020 V4S up, which were taken when the PPF was installed.

It's now got a tail tidy, which improves the back end a lot.

Very impressed with the bike so far, but not going over 6k until after running in service (621 miles = 1000km).

After a good mate passed away in October (NOT COVID, incredibly), I was starting to test ride the 2020 1000cc sportsbikes (easier said than done), when lockdown hit us again, so with brexit looking and 2021 price increases looming large, I decided to let the heart rule the head for once. Was looking at a 916 Foggy edition, but didn't think the jump in price over the 2020MY bike was worth it and was offered a great deal to part ex my faithful GSXR1000K5.

Hoping we'll have chance to get out and enjoy this year. Happy New Year BB crew.
I’ve got a 2018 Fireblade but even compared to that, the V4 must be amazing.

Not a fan of the noise of the V4S but I could sit and look at it all day. What a machine.

I have the Suzuki Version in Schwantz Pepsi colours!
That'll be an RB50 then? Show us a pic..
Actually it is a GSXR50! My mate has similar in Lucky Strike too! But basically the same as the RB50.

That looks fkin gorgeous, absolutely no shame in quoting the whole post to get the pictures up again & irritate some. wink

Are they putting V4R wings on them all now?

A lovely thing to own as semi-retirement / occasional use type of thing. There’s a couple of used V4S on eBay at the moment at high teens are most appealing to me but clash with my Lotus Elise thoughts along the same lines.

Thanks biggrin

2020 MY has V4R front subframe (more flex apparently) Wings (same as V4R) and a raised rear pivot point/higher CoG plus more softer mapping for lower RPM/gears to apparently make the bike more forgiving to lower skilled riders like me.

Also has rear cylinder de-activation (for heat issues in traffic) and improved cooling/ventilation, so your testes are only broiled lightly instead of the full sterilisation.

S had lighter wheels set too I believe.

That V4S is lovely, but i fear you will miss you K5 if it was a nice one.
Still, IMHO, the best sportsbike ever made.

How necessary is PPF in the UK? Can't remember the last time I got a stone chip on a bike.

Looks good though!
