Popped into Essexshire for a coffee and a bap. Not been back since Scott organised a BB ride to Finchingfield which seem like a lifetime ago now.

Nice trip out around the cotswolds today with a couple of guys from the Africa twin forum.

Got my bike muddy, wet and even stuck at one point too!

Parked up at Stow with the Twin Twin.

3DP, Scott, Mitzy, Spareparts, Fats, Fleegle, in fact I think we took over the BP's forecourt! Pretty sure I had a K1300S at the time so as you say, a long long time ago! I've probably got some pics somewhere. During that period I had some great times with the BB massive, shame this place is now more Biker Arguments than Biker Banter.

Not a bad shot of Pete’s new Africa Twin in the Ford.

I’m not keen on the paint, but otherwise I like it; I’ve always liked the XR750 look But shouldn’t the carbs be on the right for proper authenticity wink

Does the sandwich board on the front say "The end is neigh"? wink Not usually a HD fan but that I like, what is it?

Burness just this side of the English/Scottish Boarder on Saturday.

Still a bit cold.

I wouldn’t buy the Thruxton, but I think it looks great.

I can see you're at the nicer cafe. Been coming here years but always went to the one in the distance. The cakes to the one just on your right are better though... And I've had a lot of cake

Went snett Sunday. My mate got a lot of attention and some what I can only class as jealous haters. Was a great day though. Took me until lunch time to start feeling my old self on a bike again

And today just got back from Mx on the freshly built maico 490... I'm roosted and had massive arm pump but felt good back in the seat. Loads to sort on it and I think it holds a record for how much can come loose no matter how many times you tighten it. Old school bikes vibrate A LOT!

Quick run to Monyash and Longnor yesterday - such a gorgeous day, contrary to the forecast. It's bloody lovely up there and some cracking roads, too...I'm still undecided about the retro side panel. Opinions?
