Had these Z1000 Mk2 cases powdered coated in Satin black, close to OE finish. They've been bored out to take bigger liners, to take it out to 1400cc

From memory anything that size we had great difficulty keeping the oil inside back in the dark ages. Even when using Russ Collins barrels. However nowadays we have learned about pumping losses and crankcase pressure equalisation. So perhaps look at some "ports" between webs in the crankcase to let the pressure build up lessen ? As well as a huge crankcase breather.

I love big Zeds.

Block is Orient Express, the internals will be modded, welded crank, APE studs etc, and yes a big crankcase breather

Yes!! Get it done! Here’s mine, I use it as much as I can although realistically that ends up being sub 1000 miles a year

Excuse the location, pic quality etc. Today was quite about getting back on the bike (2 months out from hip replacement). A good day for me, bike is now off for a tidy up and should be fitter myself when she gets back.

Lockable flooring tiles have been great for the last 5 years and more in mine, insulates a bit, keeps noise down, very durable and jacking cars and bike stands leave no impression, and nice kneeling down on rather than a cold hard floor.

Mine are from plassfloor here in Birmingham

Eeerrrrr its fixed, but yet to put it all back together, need to helicoil the pulled clutch cover threads, and clean up the weld on the outside, ill leave it as it is inside for added strength
