Technically all bikes are just piles of parts! Just some piles are more connected than others It’s all there (plus a bit) and all original and registered, which is the unusual bit for such a project!
It will be restored and back on the road, we’ve done far worse bikes before

It IS a 1931 Sunbeam Model 9. It’s all there and was bought by the previous owner in the late 1970s in the same state.

My late Dad always told me a pre-war Sunbeam was the best bike he ever owned and although I don't know what model his was it must have been from a similar era.
Looking forward to seeing it once complete!

This one is first though, and the other half of the pair I got. This one should be more straightforward as it’s mainly got paint on it, so will be a reassemble job rather than a restoration.
That’s the theory, anyway...
Took the big bikes to the forest yesterday, ridiculously good fun!
It was very sandy so you had to be careful not to wash the front out all the time, but after two hours of riding it started to feel like a dirt bike. I'm really impressed by the Tiger, it's a very confidence inspiring bike. I also rode it there and back too, so 5 hours of riding in total. Feeling it today.
P.S. Only dropped it once, trying to show off doing a skid/turn in front of people. Literally within the first 3 mins of getting there.
