Couple of pictures from the ride from Minnesota to California that I completed a couple of days ago. Not many photos this time as it was super smoky from the wildfires so not much point to be honest. But did manage to cross Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon and finally California and covered around 2400 miles.

Unfortunately coincided with the end of Sturgis as we passed through the Black Hills in South Dakota. Lots of Harley riders, but also shocking displays of bad riding. Either idiots who refuse to be passed or other riders who simply cant ride! I am no expert rider and absolutely could do better, but saw too many riders who clearly had no real idea how to get their 500kg Harley around a corner! Anyway, I will get off my orange box....

Sorry gents, was out on a bike night. That’s a total of 50 miles trouble free !

Haven’t got any real decent ones as it had a load of tat stickers on which I’ve removed today and replaced with OEM decals.

Got the bike out briefly after work yesterday, and the sun was shining for a change. One thing I noticed, it’s really hard to capture the full effect of the carbon on an iPhone, it really doesn’t do it any justice but here’s a couple of pics

Knew you'd be first. It does, yes. I knew the risk and I'll take the lumps. What plate goes on next, I haven't decided, but as Matlock was a pointless detour as it turned out, I won't be going that way again for a long time.
