I've never led a motorcycle tour in my life... Well done to you though!
It’s huge fun! Little better than doing what you love, sharing it with others, and seeing them have a great time seeing/exploring new things they’ve always wanted to!

Goal for 2018:

Ride as much as I can.
Stay accident-free.
Install heated grips on CBR600 and ride when it’s cold.

Oh, do more early weekend morning Zurich-to-Meiringen-over-Sustenpass-breakfast rides. This season I only had three ride-out early-morning breakfasts. 2016 I had at least 12.

Hopefully a track day in Italy as well.
Maybe sell a few bikes and buy a GSXR1000R.

Ride more, enjoy it more (if that's possible), crash less, and get somewhere near a podium or two

Also, sell off one of my ZX10R race bikes, and get a Ducati or Aprilia race bike as the italian draw is strong

Try not to waste money on a new bike when mine is only 11 months old, I fear this may be broken before 2018 arrives frown

Not cheap. Gear and flights are separate. It appeared based on searching and reviews that this was reputable.

Going to book up a couple of toro trails stuff as well for Spain.

My own bike is on hold until i can get something to secure (T6) to lug it around in.
Nice one! You sent me off on a google frenzy earlier. I reckon I'm going with one of the other providers and do a 5 or 7 day affair. Looks like a ballache to reach there from London anyway so may as well make the most of it.

Spain might be a viable alternative though!
Flights are cheap currently from London - £80 return. Just the 2-3 hour mini bus journey on the other side.

I chose a smaller trip mainly because enduro is f**king knackering! And, i honestly have no idea what i am letting myself in for terrain-wise (beyond what is described).

1. do a tour of some description outside the UK.

Got my wife's agreement for a two week Moroccan trip but now decided to visit her relatives at Easter which was the ideal time and family holiday takes priority in the summer so planning a late spring foray to the Alps.
I bought a GS in March this year and have managed 2000 miles which is not bad but want to do 5000 next year.

It can be very tiring depending on the terrain. Also depends a lot on the weather conditions. I ride a lot in Thailand, the heat and humidity can kick in the fatigue pretty quick in the jungle. Once the clutch finger(s) get cramp, you're pretty much fked! ask me how I know...

I'm leaning towards Spain for 3 nights 2 days now just to see how we get on and plan for Romanian 5 day affair in the future.

I think most of those experiences will be fking sublime though.

I came off my Speed Triple 6 years ago (only had 500 miles on it) and sold it once repaired after a loss in confidence. I realise now that the Street Triple I had previously was a better bike for me, so in 2018 I really want to buy either a new ST 765 or a 2014/5 ST 675.

I’d like to finally get my old CBR600F running properly, (I’m nearly there)
I had some health issues this year so didn’t ride as much as usual so I’d really like to try and get back to riding 6000+ miles in 2018.
No plans to buy any more bikes, just enjoy what I already have in the garage.

1) Do a European track day. (Currently looking into it)
2) Do a few U.K. Trackdays
3) Don't smash myself up too badly
4) Don't blow the bike up
5) Don't just sit in the garage if it's a wet trackday!

2: finish my advanced rider training and get a pass
3: sell the CBR65F (hint hint)
4: decide on a second bike for the summer
5: European tour with some mates

Assuming I pass Mod 2 on 12th December this year my 2018 goals are;

1) Buy my first bike
2) Attend some meets and ride outs
3) Make some new friends
4) Make it through my first year on the bike without major incident.

Can't wait to be honest.
