The CBR600F especially the earlier steel framed carbed bikes are now outdated and outclassed by newer metal, they are now a 30 year old design, but they have a certain charm and make a brilliant second bike (which mine is) they’re cheap, plentiful, depreciation proof, and there are tons of spares and parts available to keep them on the road, they’re also very easy to work on. So if you do your own maintenance they can easily be run for peanuts.

Bought the gumtree bike. Good paperwork, nice guy, paid £1,550 for it and £197 to insure it on a classic policy!

Got 2 keys, original exhaust and a disk lock thrown in, well chuffed!

I’ll get some pics up tomorrow, only thing that’s needs sorting is relays for the indicators I’ve been told by a mate? Easy enough job I’ve been told just need to find the bits?

Well done, it looked a good honest bike. You'll enjoy owning that.
