Only had my MT07 a couple of weeks as my first bike but I’m finding the mirrors are really poor. No matter how I adjust them, I can see hardly anything but my elbows and is affecting my confidence in riding. Always paranoid of what’s behind me. Any particular recommendations on replacements? I’m thinking of bar end mirrors would be the best option. Cheers for the responses guys.

The bar end mirrors on my street triple are great. Can’t say how they would work on s MT though. Some bikes are just crap for rear view angles.

I bought some mirror extenders from ebay for £10. I no longer look at my shoulders. I just looked for the link but they're no longer selling them - it had 60mm and 100mm although I'm sure other places will be priced similar.

As did I. Now I can see behind me, much, much better than standard (Monster 797).

I hate bar end mirrors, they look st and are always small because they would look even more st if a useful size, and they increase the width of the bike too.
I can't think of a worse place to put a couple of windbreaks as regards the handling either.

A lot of modern bike mirrors are 70% obscured by elbows, but a quick duck wing impression with your arm becomes automatic soon enough.

I didn't feel a difference regards handling, and I can't filter here anyway so bike width isn't an issue.
