Hopefully the subject of rip-off ferry prices will now be addressed, or does Tynwald just see this as a nice earner?
No idea, my guess would be the latter though

The TT ferries are sold out year on year, why would they reduce the income ??

Trust me there will be no reductions on prices, I think Jersey and Guernsey residents get a discount on their ferry or so I have been told but we do not get anything from steam racket.

I've only missed 2 since 2004. Both due to not being able to get time off work. I'm going this year for race week flying from Edinburgh. I've got a friend who moved to the island a few years back, so it's a good time of year to go and visit!

We went to the Northwest last year as I couldn't get time off for TT. As much as I enjoyed the NW200 and visiting various places in Northern Ireland, it wasn't the same as the atmosphere during TT on the island. Even on non race days there are many things TT and bike related to see.

Be careful on the new Lancaster bypass. The last bit is a 40mph dual carriageway for some unknown reason.

Don't go through Lancaster, the bridge is out and the diversion is painful, and would be a nightmare with huge numbers of bikes.

Would be a good excuse to buy a new one! Or borrow one of yours ? smile

You marshalling during race week? Would be great to catch up at some point.
