I saw "Dinoboy's" thread on the Vernasca Silver flag event in Italy which I also attended late June.

I'd like to take credit for him being there as he asked in Italy forum about local events to that region on the

weekend he was down there,

I'll post my pics from there ,without duplicating any of his and also the pics from this week when I went to Germany

for the Eifel Rallye festival ,an event I've been to 3 times before.



Delahaye just casually left in the street.

This has Carrera Panamericana history.

The course is only about 10km long ,from Castell d' Arquato ,threw Lugagnano Val d' Arda to Vernasca.

This Skoda was incredibly low ,couldn't work out why.

4 x RS200s there ,including a Group S car ,fitted with a YB and driven by it's original design engineer ,John Wheeler.







This broke on the shakedown with transmission troubles.

Vernasca has been on my list for a while, definitely not going off now!

Thank for all of the pictures, so much awesomeness! I sure hope you have some kind of methode to export all links in one go and you didn't have to copy/paste each link...

No I do them one at a time ,takes a while ,because not techy at all.

As for the event ,what's not to like ,it's free for starters ,no brainer.

There was a lot of people there but although parking isn't massive ,it didn't seem a problem.
