Sorry I meant on turning down GP rides because he didn't think the rides offered were good enough, despite being offered them, at the time Rea had done nothing special in SBK other than win on a Honda that no-one knew at the time was crap.

Laverty had a great year, was offered a ride, but because he was not offered the best bike the time could offer, he turned it down.

The pair of them preferred to stay in SBK, be big fish, earn tons of dough and stay there, rather than bite the bullet. Depends which way you see it.

I think both could have been career GP riders like Crutchlow if they had just taken the gamble.

Thank you. If i had a budget I'd run him and Danny Kent
And he's now re-signed, so they will have 2 bikes out next year - https://www.crash.net/bsb/news/909856/1/rea-resign...

That’s a bizarre turn of events. I thought they were running this team a sa junior team to the official factory effort with Paul Denning’s team

I wasn’t doubting you, just amazed at Melandri getting a ride in the team.

She's the reason he's always wearing sunglasses, they hide the black eyes.

I've heard Melandri isn't always the easiest to deal with but I think he's given strong results in WSB.... and he brings bucket loads of experience..

But, I know she is hot, but she's also a bit, err weird, if you watch their interactions, it's a bit, odd!

Oh she's great to look at, a model I believe in Italy, but their interactions always look a bit false! And sn't it always odd when a guy dates a woman a foot taller than him! Nothing to do with money obviously

That’s interesting - she really likes you, but is staying put with Melandri for now....
