I wish I'd known about case savers! Definitely a worthwhile addition...

Well here it is in primer... just got to decide on colour now... I have plenty of time to think about it, this will be the last update for a while... I am being kidnapped and sent to a tiny (and I mean tiny!) island where there are no cars, bikes, transport, just beaches... and sun... and no internet. Quite frankly, I don't know how I am going to cope yikes

Lovely, I wonder if a TVR style Spectraflair would suit it.

Yellow!

Or, there was a great like greeny petrol blue colour they did on the Yamaha TRX in 1997, that would look great against your silver frame.

I wanted to change the colour of the rear spring from yellow to red, and tidy up the shocker… which meant getting the spring off! its no easy task as its VERY strong. I drew up a couple of plates on CAD and sent the drawing to the laser cutter… few days later these came. made it an easy and safe job!
Do you have a link for the service you've used? - I'm an avid watcher of colin furze videos, he has a Swifty CNC plasma cutter, very cool, but I can't justify one; that said - having a service to get the odd part made up would be super useful!

squeezed a bit of time in the garage before we go!

Here is the seat being made… I have used closed cell EFP30 foam, which is firm, but has the advantage that it can be sanded to shape. it will be covered with some 6mm foam and trimmed. Trimming is one of the jobs I cant do at home!

Not my “style” of bike, but I’m impressed nonetheless. It looks and sounds great and as you rightly say, it’s your bike, made by you, for you, so no-one else’s opinion really matters!

Thanks - would be super cool; Yeah, plasma cutters aren't very expensive - I just don't have a very big workshop - so each tool has to really justify the space it takes up!

The red pulley/clutch cover (I’m not a biker) suits the red paint, but the golden centres of your brake discs match the orange paint.

Whichever colour you choose you will have to have some other bits painted to match! (Personally I prefer red tanks on naked bikes)

A dark green; like the matrix special - imo suits the shape/spec nicely.

Porsche dark olive being my favourite colour also!
