The Budget Baaiiiike Battuuull.....

I enjoy their videos.
I find their BBB could be a bit better with less moaning and playground humour. Its a bit lads lads lads at times.
I can see why they need a van. It would be a laugh without one but they're still doing all the riding.
They probably should have tested their bikes before they went. It may work for Top Gear but TG is a much bigger thing and half the episode isn't lost while they fix it. Their first BBB had the right level of reliability imo.

The moaning is what makes it. I just hope that Fagan and BvG don't have a genuine falling out!
I've tried to watch BvG solo content previously and I just. Can't. Do. It. It's so smug and he does come across as something of a narcissist. Fagan adds a proper balance to him that makes the pair totally watchable.
At first when watched BBB Italia (my entry into 44t content) I thought that Fagan was the objectionable one, but after watching the original BBB and a load of other content I've completely changed my mind. Especially as Fagan has the talent to back up any of the comments or thoughts he has on bikes.
I've always thought MotoVloggers were a waste of space and energy. They took something that is as exciting and life affirming as motorcycling, and distilled it down into a boring rant about Addison Lee drivers. 44T is how motorcycling content should be done. Multi camera, proper editing with reliable opinion and much factual content. Just riding into London on a BMW GS and complaining about cyclists is so boring.
The fine thing in BBB Italia was annoying, but on re-watching it, i think BvG handled it quite well considering the tantrums he seems to be on the verge of throwing in other videos. At the end of the day it wiped out the entire programme budget. I'd get upset too, but being my own editor I might well have made sure I edited out the most childish bits... but then it's hard to edit oneself, in the same way that some actor-directors struggle to direct themselves.
A note to people suggesting they need to be put on 'real' TV or whatever... Nope. Real TV is dying, and motorcycling is such a small audience there is no chance for it. Youtube is up and coming, and their content suits the platform so well. Sure they won't be millionaires from it, but they can make it work with their 44 rewards and sponsors. The advantage of Youtube is that it suits niche content that can be produced on a shoestring. Conventional linear TV and even stuff like Netflix and Amazon don't really fit that mould. It's a time waster, not an entertainer really.
Top gear, despite being about cars which most people own and can relate to, was still an anomaly. It was popular in spite of the cars, and the motorcycles and all the 'insider knowledge' required would put too many people off, even on some dowdy bottom of the EPG channel like Dave or Motors or whatever is around these days.

Why is the first reaction to something doing well on YouTube always a glut of people turning up and asking for it to be put on TV? Who actually watches TV?
Anyway, I love 44Teeth and the BBB in particular. Top lads having a laugh and the occasional argument. I have to say this trip doesn't look much fun but it is entertaining. I'm really surprised that the Hornet has given them so much bother.

Statham’s review of the new Tuono is worth a watch.

(Good to see Neeves cocking about too)
