Ducrappy blown up twice and broken down once with the number 1 rider LOL!
Oh yeah I forgot it broke during qualifying as well.Is it the same model bridewells using or is he on last years ?
I think 2 of the breakdowns might be down to team PBR. Electrical connector wotsit and 2nd “blow up” looked like water rather than oil, so poss a hose from spannering between races.
I agree with the sentiment though!

Why does James Ellison bother? It’s pretty embarrassing now.
I've been wondering this for a while. Even when he is in form and in the mix at the front, he never seems to close out a win. He's done a Kiyonari the past couple of seasons (how the fk did Kiyo get a WSB ride this year?!)

Given that he had a Twitter post saying his Smith's BMW wouldn't be ready in time for Silverstone and he'd be missing it must be partly to blame but like you said even when he is in for there always seems to be 'a reason' shame as I like him. I’m guessing because Honda wanted a Japanese rider?Although, they’ve not been overly concerned about that in the recent past and surely there’d be a better Japanese rider than Kiyo (given his form) available?
Maybe there’s something in the rumour that Honda are just using WSBK for development of a new bike and don’t care about the results this year?
All baffling though!
Back to the case in point - Ellison - I’ve also no idea why he still gets a decent ride either. Bringing money to the team maybe?
Can't take to that track at all, just seems like a mix of silverstone corners strung together, which of course it is. Why can Honda, the richest motorcycle company in the world, not build a bike that can dominate world and bsb? Doesn't make sense, and is terrible PR. It would be better to just not take part.

I’m with you but I assume they think that MotoGP covers most reputational bases. Scooter buyers in Indonesia aren’t concerned about the FireBlade’s lack of performance and it was close enough in this weekend’s 24h Le Mans.WSB / BSB is for the knowledgeable ultra hardcore in the Western World and they’ll be having one last bash at that crowd with a new €40k Euro 5 compliant Superbike next year, hopefully a V4.
