How many good morals should i show after a private sale?
Discussion
Depends on what the caller is after. Does he want cash, in which case politely say no. Or is he after technical help?
I've sold a couple of subarus to people and they've stayed in touch, looking for info on mods I've done, where I got parts from, grades of oil used, recommended garages etc.

Garelli tiger Cross.. Used to leave my mates fizzys, puch 50,s and suzukis for dead. It smoked like a bonfire, used to eat pistons (chrome bore so not re boreable) but could touch 60mph.
The clutch was on its way out and the frame had cracked and it ended its daysas a field bike sold for£25.

Check out the AA’s website. The gyst of it is this:
“The only legal terms that cover a private sale contract are:
The seller must have the right to sell the car.
The vehicle should match the description given by the seller.
The car must be roadworthy – it is a criminal offence to sell an unroadworthy car and an MOT certificate from a test several months ago is no guarantee that the car is roadworthy today.”
Hope this helps....

I remember 1972 and my blue Garelli Rekord, the lights were poor when new.
And when the FSIE crowd would claim 55 - flat-out every where was the only way to ride such things - my Garelli really would do 50-55.... for about three weeks. Damned fragile. New barrel every month.I remember 1972 and my blue Garelli Rekord, the lights were poor when new.
