One-off return to Moto2 for Bradley Smith as he replaces the injured Khairul Idham Pawi on the Sepang Petronas bike (Brad rides for their MotoE team).

We're going to go upto Silverstone for the qualifying.
Never spectated there before. We only have general admission tickets.

Can anyone advise on the best place to try and watch from? And any other useful info?

Much appreciated.

Will it be another Marquez vs Dovi last lap battle?

Lets hope so.

Silverstone is tricky for bikes, best bet is to use the buses and move around a lot, it is a huge place, some of it great to watch, some of it awful, but move around would be best advice.

Club corner grandstand is OK.
If the weather forecast is not "Heatwave", take some warm clothes, Silverstone is a cold, windswept horror show, if the weather's not warm!

It could be all those in a matter of 30 mins biggrin

I’d say Becketts, but it’s not a great place to watch racing.

On the Friday of Silverstone classic ,I sat in the free stand just before Becketts on the inside of the track, where you can also see them coming back the other way onto Wellington straight.

I went on the Friday last year, ended up just wandering from stand to stand and did a complete lap, I would recommend getting to the stage area for the interviews after practice finishes, they were really funny, unlike the TV interviews. Despite a 90 mile ride home in torrential rain I really enjoyed it.

Went for the last "race" in 2017. The misses got us weekend passes for the Brooklands suite. Niall Mackenzie was hosting, Bradley Smith and Sam Lowes came round for a chat and I got to walk around the paddock!

Bestest weekend biggrin

I watched a Motogp race from there a few years back and while there its great to see the bikes sweeping through that section, overtaking is minimal.

I was there for the British Superbike opener a few months back and quite enjoyed the stand between Luffield and Wood Cote.
You get to view some overtaking as they outbrake each other in to Brookland, and then they fire out of that section towards the main straight.

Probably not great for qualifying though!

Come on Bradders show em what you're made of!

(That Moto 2 will feel like an old 125 compared to his Moto E steed!).

I have a 3 day car parking pass for sale if anyone wants it? We’re camping on site now so it’s not needed.

Usually sit in the maggots/becketss stands/luffield/vale for quali...anywhere thats a good view of the big screen tbh....

Stands will be free roaming, but not all will be open.

Careful, according to Heuwen the riders are unloading in the corners. Must be a weight reduction solution.
