94 Daytona 900 with just 11000 miles - too good to be true?
Discussion
Ive got the original indicators from a previous daytona, been hanging up in the garage for almost 20 years! - so may refit those to see how it looks - The old exhausts were like canons - massive bloody things, I much prefer the new ones but suppose its just down to personal taste. Garage confirmed that the bike has been seriously lowered but done properly so advises leaving it as it is. Handling is really good - none of the top heavyness I remember but it does make the riding position very cramped as it also has a lowered seat - may change the seat just to get a few cm of room back! but loving the handling for old bike. Brakes are seriously crap though! (even after a clean up and servicing) - I fancy keeping this though for my old age!
yep, its been professionally lowered to the point of it not being worth the hassle to put it back! Good points - handling is brilliant! and it feels really rooted to the ground. bad points - at 5,11 i'm not that tall but riding position is very cramped - worse than my fireblade but Ive lowered the pegs and may replace the lowered seat - that should give me a bit more room. Or i could go back to yoga so i can bend my knees better to fit it!
