Went to the classic car show that also has the classic bikes yesterday.
I know people moan about the price to get to motorcyclelive but I paid online £19.50 (£25 on the day) for the show next week. But it was £27 online for the car show

I dont get how people moan about £20 to get in. You get almost every bike available on display to sit on and test ride on some of them. Try going around all the dealers on £20 worth of fuel, let alone the fact it would take you a lot longer than walking 20 seconds from one to the other at the bike show. Plus the stores and other events going on there. Yes I moan about the price of the food and drink there, but then I could take my own if I was really arsed..
As for bikes go free, like others 200 mile round trip at the end of nov and unable to take home your new helmet, bike gear turn up the A/C and heated seats. Rock on
I'm going Sunday, not been for over 20 years lol, fook me I'm old. To be honest if the Ducati v4 street fighter and the new ktm 1290r weren't there I wouldn't bother. I need a serious poke around both before a hole burns its way through my pocket and I lose me cash for next years new bike.
The only down side is getting up at the crack of dawn to get there before it shuts, the alarm is set for 9am If anyone is going from hear you may spot me, I will probably be the one escorted off the Ducati and ktm stand for abusive behaviour towards time wasting s taking up valuable seat time while crouched in a racing tuck

Any "glamour girls" there?
Nope, obviously there are 'girls' there to get people to sign up to stuff but nothing like I imagine you are referring to!Went yesterday, 3 hours to take it all in, didn't seem to be as many clothing stalls this year and alot more bikes. Still a lot though.
Ugly award goes to the ZH2. Prettiest award goes to the Honda RCV ... again
Had a decent day there today and achieved a few goals of bikes I wonted to prod poke and sit on for 2020. Its not the same show it used to be 20 years ago Back then it was a lot bigger and lots more women to ogle at including big flashy stands with music blasting out.
Finally got my ears filled with st and ordered some custom ear plugs to see what there like.
I also got to the bottom of all the bullst concerning the new 1290r release date and price from the ktm staff. £15600 base without the unlocks and demo bikes in the dealers for December Bring on new bike time . The Ducati v4 street fighter is nice but they have moved the 1290 on so far ahead of the previous gen bikes its got me hooked, you can stick your 208bhp for a super naked thanks .
I really cannot work out the Aprilia stand and brand at the moment. No old bikes or race bikes to justify there history just a bit lacking really, not even bothered to bring the rs660 over to the uk. There new 2020 tuono is just a paint scheme yet there flogging off there old paint scheme cheap They have to be working on a new tuono but I guess its going to be the end of the year.
