Anyone managed to get any refunds yet? I booked with Duke and still waiting for any solid news on the refund timescale but told the ferry will get refunded no probs but the accommodation (TT village) is still unknown.

Still gutted. This is the second consecutive year it’s gone wrong for me, it feels as if I am destined to never see any racing.
I spoke to duke who said they would refund accomadation minus an 'admin fee' or pass it over to next year. That was 2 weeks ago heard nothing since.

Yeah? I'm not sure how legal that is as it's Duke that are voiding the contract).

I'd love to tx it to next year but the size of our group, the days required, and the travel options seemed set in loose stone - i.e. they offered to move the ferry and accommodation to approximately the same as this year but it didn't seem very flexible, nor very certain.

My booking is for thousands of pounds (thankfully booked via credit card) and I'm not getting good vibes from them at the moment.

Nothing as yet I know of people who have paid entry fees & are still waiting to hear whats going on, I'm sure once the lockdown is lifted it'll be sorted.
IOM Chief Minister just announced a further 4 weeks lockdown of the Island.
Course preparations hardly started , definitely no TT in June this year.
Doubtful any Classic /Manx later either I would guess.

Same here, more or less... I didn't get a notification though, I just noticed it when I checked my card statement one day.

Huh. Nothing showing for me yet.
I was going go to wait for the ‘Rona to calm down a bit then give them a call to see what’s up.

Thanks

I am being offered a 90% refund, with hundreds of pounds being charged for “administrative reasons”, which somewhat jars with me. Not leaving a good taste in my mouth tbh.

At least Steam Packet are offering to move money paid over to next years bookings. I’ve got 3 Eurotunnel bookings for this year which cannot be used (Spa and two Le Mans) and all they say is that the bookings can be used for up to 12 months after they were booked. So I’ve got until November to try and use them all, or lose them.

This years TT would have been a weekend trip for the Superbike race. At least for TT21 we can go back to doing a full practice week.

They are now being very slippery - suggesting that the booking will be available for my party to travel on the ferry and stay in the IOM TT Village despite the TT being cancelled.

I suppose they are just covering their arses as there is no official travel limitation in place for June. But, still leaves a bitter wee taste in the back of the throat.

2021 availability is due this month, I might just re-book as Duke have offered to move stuff to next year at no extra cost. But, what happens if they go bust?

Managed to book this morning for race week 2021. Cancelled my ferry booking for this year just before corona virus kicked off, unusually the steamracket website didnt seem as busy as the usual TT rush this morning. Only a year to wait!

Every other year I have booked it has been manic, usually got laptop, phone and tablet on the go at once, but this morning I got up around half eight, went downstairs and was thinking there was something I was gonna do this morning????? Half hour later I remembered I was supposed to get up early for TT tickets, doh! But went online and 10 mins later had it all booked, go over friday before race week, come back late friday night after the senior. Easiest booking I have done!

Manx Radio AM. Are doing historic TT broadcasts and stuff every day from today until next Saturday.

Today’s show has been great. However it’s making me feel a little down in the beak that none of us are enjoying the TT this year.

I feel lost without it tbh.
