Here is a pic of me collecting the bike from the dealers. Not stopped at any interesting spots to get more pics yet. Can’t wait to finish the break in period.
Love that!!! cloud9

How's it ride?
I’ve really enjoyed the limited rides I’ve had so far. I don’t have anything to reference it against other than the MT07 I learned on but I’m pleased with my decision to buy it
Simply lovely. Great looking bike.
I passed last May and went for a new XSR900 am loving it.
I looked at the XSR900 as well and was very close to buying it. Ended up buying the Z900 as it was the cheapest out of the 2 bikes to insure.

Mod 2 booked for 14th can’t wait as the Aprilia 660 keeps looking at me everytime I open the garage.
Good luck with your MOD2 test!

I think you will get away without the injector cleaner but it cannot hurt.
Agreed, don't bother with any injector cleaner, it's bks.

Get yourself a jerry-can full of fresh super unleaded and top it off, away you'll go.

Got my Mod 2 on the 14th as well - good luck cool

I parked my bike up at my Mums so i didn't have the torture of looking at it every day! My daughter had a look at it last time we were there though and approved - not sure you lot will! I have my motives and there will be a combustion engined twin to sit next to it in the near future for different adventures!

Great looking retro bike.

Yesterday was the first time I really began to get close to the red line on the learner 650, it always felt brisk but when wound up in the lower gears it actually felt quite powerful to me, I guess it will take a while before us newbies can tap in to the full performance- if ever?
No big bike is really slow, my first bike after passing three years ago was a K4 GSXR600 which was a bit daft, it has two power bands (where the cam timing changes) one at 7K and another kick at 11K, only ever got it to just under 11K before i bottled it at 110mph, had the bike just under three years and never really fully opened it up. Have a Gen 1 Hayabusa now and cant really open that thing up on the road (it's so low geared the way it builds speed is effortless), doesn't bother me though, i love it. Loved the Gixxer but had to go as it was killing my back after 1 hour riding.

As Krikkitt rightly says, it’s a CE 04 electric scooter. I needed/wanted something different to a regular bike, and really loved the look of it and the fact that it’s electric. Has every option box ticked, so heated grips/seat, fast charger, adaptive headlights and ABS etc etc

Looking forward to getting out on it and seeing how it rides and what people make of it. Personally I love the styling - most people’s responses are either it looks like something out of Tron, or Judge Dredd smile

Start a topic on it with updates, how it compares to other bikes and range/costs?

Was just about to say that with a bit of graffiti you could also put it into Cyberpunk 2077 as well biggrin

I think they're a fantastic-looking bit of kit

Pleased to say I sat my Mod 2 this morning and despite torrential downpours from the off I passed with zero minors first time! smile

Good luck to all of you with upcoming tests, stay calm and collected and you'll smash it ready for some summer fun clap

Yey, where did you do yours?

I passed my MOD 2 this morning as well (burgess hill in pouring rain) First time and one minor (left indicator on after the road side stop - I had problems cancelling on the ride there so should have double pressed it).

Passed my theory earlier first time. The App was a massive help. As soon as the weather gets better I’m booking the DAS.

I would get booking the DAS now as everyone starts to book up now. Just buy some wet weather gear and crack on is my advice..

Awesome work, well done mate smile

I did my test in Bedford where I live, think the rain was blowing up from the south so probably the same clouds at different times!

I must have pressed my indicator cancel button about 100 times more than required throughout the ride!

I had a dodgy foot peg on mine, same bike I did my Mod 1 and training on but had been dropped since I last rode it. Had to wiggle my toe around to get it in under the shift lever on occasion which made it fun. I pointed out to the instructor when we got back to the training centre and he apologised and said he’d sort it this afternoon.

Enjoy your riding and stay safe smile

Well done and I’d echo getting it done sooner rather than later. I used the app too and it really helped me smile

Congrats guys on the 2 x Mod 2s and the Theory Test pass. clap

I had ‘the call’ earlier this week to say my Trident would be ready to collect this weekend. Off to a demo day on Sunday to test ride a Speed Twin 900, then collecting and driving back from the test ride on my new bike. Excited!!!

Savour the moment gents.
Such a great feeling to pass any test.
Congratulations.

To the earlier poster, we can get lots of rain in the summer so just get it booked now and passed quickly.
