That’s number one contender for my next bike when I eventually decide to move on from my current CBR600.
I had a go on one a couple of weekends ago. Not nearly as slow as it gets slated for, quite quick actually. But that thing in the rear of the seat that sticks into your arsse was horrible! What where they thinking??

Good feedback there ta pal.

I Did wonder about the seat thing too and I’m not very petite in the arse region!

One of them will be more than enough for me on the road. My CBR6 is no slouch as far as I’m concerned.

Narrowed down my next bike: Z900 or CB1000R. Hopefully sometime in 2020. Decisions, decisions.....
...cough, RS... do it!

Workmate did his DAS and bought this brand new.Rode it once and decided biking wasn't for him,so it sat in his garage for best part of a year!
Sold it to me at a knockdown price with a grand total of 60 miles on the clock. Great bikes,under-rated and excellent VFM,(although I'm looking to upgrade this year).

Did my first track day late last year, and mate lent me this as a try before you buy. Loved it,spent 40 quid getting it thru the MOT and been using it on the occasional good days over the winter.

Wanted something for summer use only, it was the most amount of bike for £5k you could buy - ohlins, brembo, carbon, forged wheels - I like nice bits biggrin 140bhp so just the right amount of power (IMO) for UK roads, and being a v-twin, and naked, all the fun is below 3 figures. Big enough to be comfy for me at 6ft 3in, and with the perfect combination of non electronic throttle, no rider aids and a 1000cc v-twin which just wants to be set off the leash, it's massive fun.

I've barely put 500 miles on it in the last 18 months, but I'm not selling it anytime soon - the fact that it's still worth what I paid (or more) for it in September 2016 is awesome, too.

I didn't think people really did that! Good for you if not for him laugh

Lovely!

A tuono is right at the top of my list. Wanted a tuono/rsv ever since I had the sr50 moped 15 years ago with the same tail lights and styling cues.

That photo makes it look like the forks are bent! Could be my eyes...

Other than that, pretty cool.

It does to me too! Aprilia bikes are very appealing, especially for the money.

Yep the gen 1 and 2 tuonos are great bikes. Only had the gen 1 myself. Great for the taller bloke. Rotax engine is bulletproof, electrics less so!

Would have one again but only got rid of it as it was naff for pillions

I was drunk in LA after riding across the states from Florida on a Harley.

Saw it under a load of dust at the back of a dealership, criminally underpriced.

Haven’t regretted it since... obviously not the best example out there, but in great shape and it actually gets ridden - now on 30k miles.

RSV Mille R: Had a limited budget, wanted a 1000cc sportbike after a couple of peaky 600s, seemed much more special (especially being an 'R' dripping in carbon fibre, Ohlins suspension and OZ wheels) than the comparably priced R1, GSXR etc. Love it

SV650: wanted to go racing having done a couple of trackdays, Minitwin grid seemed to be of a healthy size, was concerned about budget also inexperience of racing so seemed like the best choice. Great bike, low maintenance, easily holds its own in most fast groups on trackdays. Also with baffle in the exhaust quiet enough to take round Bedford which is local to me

EXC 350: Was doing a few enduros, after having a couple of MX bikes, no stand, carbs, kickstarts were just a pain in the ass, so went for the EXC as its electric start, fuel injected, also KTM are abundant so easy to source parts/info. Being road legal makes it easier to track the history with a V5 etc, also means I can do greenlaning.

I really like it too & preferable to the newest "Neo" version
Great colours, quick enough, handles superbly (for my limitations) & really pleased with the sound from that IX Race (Ixil) pipe.
That’s number one contender for my next bike when I eventually decide to move on from my current CBR600.
You already have the perfect bike. When I move on I’ll be keeping mine.

But yes.

You’re absolutely right. I think I will actually struggle to part with the CBR as I’m massively attached to it.

I went to the TT in 2018 and saw the marshalls riding the Fireblade SP, so bought one when I got home.
