I will not tar everyone with this brush. I often come up to london to work. And when I do I stay at the girlfriends house and ride in to work every morning.

I understand that we all have to be extra careful about the loonatic drivers here in the shitty, but I can't believe how rude the bikers are up here(when they are on the move). When parking or if you are in trouble, like an accident, then everyone seems friendly and helpful. But on the move No Nods, No Waves, No Here let me move over a bit so you can get in at the lights as well. What is it?

Only once have I got the nod from another biker. Must have been a visitor.

I even pulled up to a chap at the lights to tell him his rear tyre looked a bit low. He nearly jumped out of his leathers. He was alright once he realised I was trying to help.

Lets all be a bit more friendly and courteous.

People don't nod or wave 'cos of the sheer number of bikes in the capital. You'd be doing it non stop. Bit different out in the sticks when you only see another bike every now & again.

They are probably all despatch riders who don't seem to give a sh*t about anyone else.

They are only surpassed by the pedal powered despatch riders who ignore red lights and do 30+mph down narrow streets.

I get the occasional nod from non couriers at the lights, even the occasional chat. Don't expect a nod when passing though, theres far too many bikes out there for that....Is is amazing though when you get out of the city and you pass a biker, nod everytime...
