He really is a dangerous tt. I can’t believe people are stupid enough to ride with him. That was blatantly him slamming the brakes on in that vid.
I don’t know how much you saw of the video as it does go on a bit, but it does raise the question, has MW now taken to causing others to crash to get his views?

There’s a couple of other videos of a similar nature where you could argue he’s caused someone else to crash, does this guy have some kind of legendary status overseas? I certainly wouldn’t want to be in his rider group!!

I don't subscribe to his channel and think he is a first degree weapon, but YT threw up this suggestion today so I watched it!

The fking idiot has crashed again. Opens the video with half a dozen excuses why.

While I don't wish harm on anyone, this is one of those threads that I almost want to open and read that he's crashed significantly and will not be able to ride/post on YT again.

He does nothing positive for biking or bikers.

There's a lot to be said for consistency. He manages to repeatedly crash without killing himself.

Seems like he catches a peg or his foot (boot sliders). There’s a definite metallic scraping just before it goes. Strange body position going into that turn also. The Tyre/TC BS is just that to cover up a much more basic mistake. That lean angle on the road ffs.

Regardless, he is a monumental bellend and I would imagine the consensus is yes, he should stop riding.

Me too, was hoping this was the one.

Are his hangers on guilty by association?

They get to see themselves on a YouTube channel with over 1 Million followers.

I've never ridden a bike with traction control...I have questions, apologies if they're stupid!

His traction control seems to be on an awful lot. Obviously we know the excuse about the tyre but I thought the traction control would most likely come on at maximum lean and first hit of the throttle. His seems to be coming on quite often when the bike is more upright and you can often hear that it's off throttle. So what's going on? Is it different to a car, is the light staying on after the TC has deactivated? If so how long does the light stay on for? I have an old boring car and even on that the TC light only flashes when the TC is active, so I thought bikes would be the same. Obviously the lean angles are high, but it doesn't look like hard throttle often to get the TC on. Surely even if the trye is worn out it would still have a level of grip?

He's riding a current model BMW S1000R which has c200bhp, weighs 200kgs and is putting that 200bhp down on the road through contact patch about the size of a credit card. Riding as he was it's not surprising the TC will be kicking in so much, he'd have had a lot of spin without out it.

I've got a current gen KTM superduke which supposedly has state of the art traction control. I spun it up more than any bike I've ever owned the other day with everything switched on. I'd closed the throttle before the ecu had. Makes me second guess the whole thing.

In contrast I had a powerful 2003 BMW car which should have been a handful but I could mash the accelerator in any situation and nothing untoward would happen,

I know Guy Martin attributes his last big road racing crash to tc that he says he would have sorted out himself no problem.

That being said I think TC on a powerful bike will save a lot of people a big crash.

Looks like something grounds to me as well. It does coincide with opening the throttle, but I think his boot or something was too hard into the ground and lifted / unloaded the rear.

I wonder if that dash light is also used when the ABS is stopping the rear wheel locking up, otherwise it's locking with engine braking, so it must be absolutely knackered.

Either way, once again, he's proved himself an absolute Grade-A throbber.

He’s pulling wheelies out of every corner no wonder tc is kicking in.

Yeah I'd say it's more so the wheelie control which flashes the same light + he has it dialed up high no doubt

Looks like he has the TC turned up quite high, and probably wheelie control as well as the light would come on for both.

On modern bikes with modern electrics turned right up it doesn’t take that much to get them flashing, the rider wouldn’t even notice anything happening other than a light that flashes at them.

Yep this. Tried it myself just to see what it does

I know we both have different bikes to him, but I know I could get my Tuono to flash like that on every corner if I turned the TC up to 8. I dare say that it would likely still do it on anything above 5?

Yeah 6, 7 and 8 a lot. Bit of lean and open it up you'll have it flashing loads.

Looked like excessive lean to me (trying to beat his PB perhaps?) which means he loses both ends of the bike pretty much simultaneously (perhaps because something grounds out). I'm no expert, but can't see how TC will prevent that.

This actually seemed pretty tame riding by his "high" standards.
