Tis funny but why not put it in one of the loud bike threads? This one is about authority's banning road legal bikes with standard exhausts. Ed. said:

As I understand it, this was a pilot scheme and the pilot scheme has now expired and its back to unrestricted?
Is it only the Tyrol region in the Alps that have any sort of potential for noise-restricted roads?
Is it only what is written on the logbook? For example, a friend has a Tiger with 92dba stated on his logbook, under the restrictions, however he has an arrow pipe on and its bound to be over 95dba.
Reason I ask, I'm trying to plan an alps trip in 2022, and its hard to know which roads are likely to be restricted and need avoiding etc, nothing appears up to date or concise on the web.
Thanks
