No, the game hasnt moved on, the bikes are now as equal as they have ever been, thanks to good rules.

The 'tugger' or the field is Rabat, who finished 25 secs off the win. Nobody in that class is undeserving of being there.

So now you can see who can ride, and not who has 20hp more and tyres nobody else has.

He is a capable of winning as everyone else out there. And seeing what Marquez did, i would not be surprised to see Cal on the box next weekend.
We having a bet then ?

I'll bet cal won't get on the podium if i win mnd association will be my nominated charity.

5 Ducati's propping up FP2, only Zarco on the old bike doing better.

Think Mir could get his first win this weekend, but then so could Alex Marquez. Cal seems to have found form too. Wonder what Vinales will turn up on Sunday...

It would be great if nakagami could win tomorrow , 9th maybe 10th different rider to win this year and he'd smash his way into the title fight.

Ducati - miller 14th , dovi 17th , petrucci 19th what the fk is going in on with that team , thank fk zarco was around to stick it on the 2nd row.

This season has been brilliant , every class is wide open .

Gigi Dal'Igna must be worried, for all he's made the riders carry the can it frankly looks like this year's Desmosedici is actually not a good bike at all.

You'd think at some point they'd of at least thought the 2020 bike is a disaster if we go back to the 2019 we can at least start scoring points.

Teams hate doing that though don't they?

It's an admission that they've royally fked up and going back a generation will just show that to the rest of the paddock.

Surely it's better for the team to admit the fk up and get the old bike out and have all the riders scoring points than the cluster fk they have now .

Next year they have miller and bagnia do you honestly see them in contention for the title when you've got the suzukis , petronas , both marquez brothers and nakagami all scoring .

It doesn’t work like that though. There’s a new tyre for a start that the 2019 bike didn’t have to cope with. Engine allocations may be compromised, as it might not be a straight swap into the old chassis. Restrictions on fairing changes means having to run this years choices on last years bike and there will be more than that too.

Ask me it’s the Lorenzo effect. He leaves Yamaha and two years later, which is the first without his input they struggled quite a lot with a poor bike. This is Ducati’s second season without him and this years bike isn’t great.

That's a very good point. To be honest I think it's adapting to the new tyres and in terms of time they're not that far off but in a competitive class the nths matter and the teams aren't delivering.

Go go SL22! biggrin

Mir or Marquez for the win tomorrow, the good thing about Moto GP - unlike F1 is that pole means absolutely nothing.

No surprise McPhee hasn't been brought up to Moto2 based on this.

He and Binder were together 3 or 4 laps ago back around 14th; Binder now 3rd and John...12th.
