What a race! What a weekend!!!

Amazing, really pumped for the podium finishers, everyone's a winner really: first win this year, first dry podium in class, new championship leader. And classy rides, every one of them. Spent all race saying "c'mon Alex" which one? Both! biggrin

Dovi and Vinales scooped up the points available, top rider for each manufacturer and still in the championship hunt. Shame for Fabio, guessing front tyre problem (faulty?) and beaten body, surprised he didn't pit when he dropped out of the points to save the beating on his body and mileage on the engine.

Next round surely has to be an anti-climax huh?

Well that was as enjoyable as it has been in a long time. Maybe it’s because I didn’t mind at all who won. Superb.

I was alternately on the edge of my seat and pacing around the room. Well done Suzuki!

Great race from AM73. It's nice that the championship is so open at this late stage.

It does make me feel what on earth HTC have been doing all year, this can't all JUST be Alex, Cal on the front row too, almost like they know Marc can't win it, or prevented him even from trying and finally started to make changes that other riders want. I think there is lot of stuff behind the scenes behind this injury, and maybe Honda making sure he did not try and come back too soon, try and win every remaining race, and by so doing hurt himself massively again. We will never know.

Great to see Rins win after his early season issues and also Sam finally learning how to stay on, ride within his limit and get his rewards. 2 and 3 are really hard to call.

Rossi, the most famous motorcyclist in history gets a covid19 positive. Oh well nothing to see here. Expect him to recover speedily.

Quattararo wasn't pulled in by his team because it only needed one or two riders in front of him to retire and he would've been back in the points and this championship could well be decided by a single point if it carries on like this.

Ask Tom Sykes about close... biggrin

Great run by Jake and a good interview after, "there are some minor changes we can make to the bike but the biggest changes are to me, the rider, i'm learning, the tracks, the riding and the bike" or words to that effect.
Top lad, always (well almost always) cheery.

FFS is there no one who can give John McPhee a Moto2 ride. OK Petronas have nothing, can he get loaned out for a year maybe just for the experience.
That ride today was brilliant, despite a poor grid position and the long lap penalty he finishes 5th. He really needs to be into Moto2 and out of the mad youngsters and slipstreaming.
(Yes I know Dovi was a bit upset about Danillo doing the same thing).

when you think how many people are still in with a mathematical chance of winning, its unreal.

And all of a sudden, the Honda works.

And the sign of being competitive in MotoGP used to be finishing within 30 seconds of the winner, which was if you were lucky in the top 10. Today the last finisher in 20th place (Rabat) was 25 seconds off the winner. Today's winner Alex Rins was 9th at Aragon last year and was 27 seconds behind the winner (Marquez) who was 4.5s ahead of Dovi.

And this years race was 3 seconds faster than last years, but Dovi was 4s slower than last year.

Yeah, crazy to think there's 17 mathematically, realistically there's four main contenders and the next four have a strong case after they all reduced their gap to the lead today; still think it's between Quartararo and Mir though. 12.1pts per round average is very low, normally good for 4th or 5th in the championship.

Moto2 championship has really livened up today, great seeing Sam firmly in with a shout, all four riders have been the strongest all year along with Martin so should be interesting fighting to the end.

Hugely enjoyed the race today. Very interesting to watch the different bikes taking different lines through the corners. Marquez pushing hard to the end on the ragged edge.

Moto gp is so much better to watch than f1!

The old Sam would have lobbed it trying to win today, i reckon, but he has come from 40 odd points down , to be in it proper, even with missing a round, he has to feel its there for the taking.

Three cracking races, not sure why but i was rooting for Marquez today, maybe it's my British support the underdog spirit coming out. biggrin
Cal had an atrocious first lap, shame really.
Ducati are falling apart as a team, bonkers, they should have walked it this year.

Next week should be good as it's more time for the new boys to learn from their race data. Hopefully Sam does the same again and runs his pace, let the others fall off trying to match it and make a break.

Hope Rossi comes out of CV19 without any bad effects, it's been brutal for some people to make a good recovery.

Cal complaining of a slipping clutch which marred his race. Those Suzuki`s on that left hander just undertaking anything in front. Fantastic race.
