Bit different. Looks like a lower seat height. There are lower seat height options on the GS but on the Tiger it is more limited. I'd try the HD out just to do something different.
There's also the coming Husky Norden 901 - KTM 890 motor and great looks a bit like the Tenere. Obviously not quite as big as the GS/Tiger/Pan America

Yep, I like the look of that as well! Again, the fact it isn't a GS/Explorer is part of the allure!

I've looked at some pics of the Pan America and I'm feeling the love. I think it might be my next bike. Although I usually like to buy a demo or slightly used, outright. So probably at least a year away.

There are two things I am excited about for the remainder of this month:

- The Mars landing tonight
- The launch of the HD Pan America

Haven't heard anything new about the second one though. I hope it doesn't weigh too much or cost too much.

MonDeus! That's truly awful! (To Me).

How about an MV Agusta Turismo?

Quite a high seat though, if like me, you have stumpy legs.

The SCS Clutch models interest me.

If you live near an MV dealer then I'd definitely think about the Turismo with SCS clutch.

Honda have been knocking out an SCS equivalent for a few years now! Can't say the MV does much for me to be honest.

Oh that was so stressful, it really was the 7 minutes of terror! So happy Perseverance landed safely on Mars. I think the Pan America bike launch should be easier on the nerves smile

West Coast coming back to me this Friday / Saturday with a final cost. £2,000 deposit required to secure a place.

Anyone placing bets on cost? £22,000 I reckon. Which btw, means I am well and truly out.....

I'd be flabbergasted if it is was that much when a base GS is £13700. Wait and see I guess!

So the big reveal appears to have revealed..... nothing that we didn't already know!

Not even a spec sheet available to view that I can see?

Just watched the launch video and it didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. No information on price, availability etc. You won't get the 30 minutes back

So if the above is correct, they haven't done a bad job spec wise coming in lighter than a GS.

However, mpg is worse and tank smaller, so range would be affected. Having said that 51mpg with a 4.7 gallon tank is still good for 230+ between refills.

Power hasn't been quoted but was supposed to be 145hp which trumps the GS's 136hp, but it has less torque.

All down to the price now!
