I've seen Dunlop have withdrawn the Superbike rear tyre and are recommending their treaded option instead, I wonder what the Dunlop riders will do? It's a bit of a curve ball so close to the start of practice...
Oh dear.

I did wonder what they were going to do following the NW200 issues.

Surely the top runners will have to switch manufacturer for the Superbike/Senior?

What a mess.

Hopefully the top runners at least saw the writing on the wall and have already made alternative arrangements.

It ruined the NW200, really hope it doesn’t ruin the TT.

Would there be a gentleman’s agreement do we think for everyone to run a treaded option of whatever brand they are on? Can’t see it myself but could be one way out.

How have they messed up this latest tyre so badly?

Surely they've always got the pre covid tyre 'recipe' they could use ?

Hickman, Todd, M Dunlop I think off the top of my head (based upon NW200).

Oh dear. I’ve always had the feeling that Dean Harrison will win at least one of the big races this year.

Surely any Superbike runner could justify a swicth on purely safety grounds.

He was on Dunlops at the NW200 too I'm sure.

ETA: I'm sure he'll be fighting for the win in most races regardless.

You'd think so.

It's more an issue if the bike is setup for Dunlops, and rider preference I imagine.

Yes, I'm sure his bikes had the Dunlop 'D' on the front mudguards.

In the old GP days, the tyre manufacturers could change compound and get different tyres to the circuit for the following days. Dunlop have certainly had time to use an old recipe and get a new batch to the island.

Will the BSB regulars switch to Pirelli, if they can, given that's what they use week in week on the short circuits, so at least they're used to them?

It might make the racing at the top closer if the favourites Dunlop, Harrison and Hickman can’t run slicks. It has to give the other competitors like James Hillier a real chance of getting a win.

yes start delayed 15 mins from 1.30 to 1.45.

But TT Live Pass coverage was supposed to start 30 mins early at 1pm and there is still nothing showing or any explanation why.

I wonder if they have teething troubles stopping them going "on air"
