My solution is currently watching the TT live pass pictures while they work with Radio Manx TT playing over it. Great authoritive commentary from Manx Radio as always.

Same for me, just got in, bought the TT plus thing looking forward to spending my evening watching todays action and can't actually see any way of watching it despite it saying watch for up to 12 months, any time, anywhere, rewind etc. very disappointing Tbh you're not missing much IMHO. The whole session was very disjointed and difficult to follow what was happening on track even when the broadcast was working. They kept flipping backwards and forwards between film of IOM landscapes (mountains, sea, beaches etc like a tourism film) and inane chat from the paddock whilst loads of bikes were in action on track in great weather. Then occasionally a leaderboard would pop up on the screen but only with the top 3 or 5 riders and no explanation about how the riders were doing or giving any context.
Also the sound was strangely at different levels at different times. Nice that there was something live but the production values were very poor giving the whole thing a complete lack of cohesion.

It's as though they decided to broadcast something live from a load of different locations, so they hired a bunch of TV study graduates and told them to come up with something.
Maybe it's a budget thing, but this sort of coverage isn't exactly new, so I'm surprised at how poor today's coverage was.
Still, I'm very glad that it is available, and I think Davo has a commenting career waiting for him when he decides he's had enough of the racing!

Instead of the chopping and changing I would prefer to follow the progress of a rider throughout a couple of sections,not just the top 5 riders. Maybe a Hickman vs a lesser known rider and be told the time difference through the particular section so I get a sense of talent difference.
Practice week is different to race week and I hope the production staff are reading on line tips and criticism of there work so far.
