Yeah had a good night. 4th quickest just short of 110mph
Nice, pretty good for a first lap in 3 years! How do you fill your time during the day? I think I'd just be restless waiting for practice too start, not wanting to go anywhere in case I can't make it back in time, etc...Alex@POD said:

To be fair practice finishes late evening..so next day is bike strip down and check over.Doing a sneaky catchup at work and watching first day. Can sympathise somewhat with their streaming issues but it should have been a bit smoother, but some things you simply can't test in this area until you go live. The TT is pretty unique and the only thing I can think of a comparison to is the Nürburgring 24hour. But on the otherhand, it's not new technology. Oh well, it's still a massive step up.
Hope everything irons out by the weekend, at least they do have that opportunity.
Would benefit from some kind of on screen tracker

Can't wait, definitely getting the £14.99 video pass, be nice to have more than an hour of coverage per day to watch!
What I'm even more excited about is last night I booked the ferry for me and my brother to go over next year. Heading over the Wednesday of practise week and back late on the Sunday so will get to see a Supersport and the superbike race as well. Long ride up to Heysham from Bournemouth though, unfortunately no ferries that worked time wise from Liverpool (not that it's much closer.
Neither of us have ever been before.
It's a long slog from Bournemouth. I have ridden up from Bournemouth to Liverpool on a S1000R and would have swapped it for a train ticket I was in so much pain - all was forgiven once I rode off the ferry! What I'm even more excited about is last night I booked the ferry for me and my brother to go over next year. My mate Sam West crashed his superbike yesterday lying in P6, airlifted to hospital but from the sounds of things and what he's posted on FB he's OK and still looking to race if he can get a bike and gets signed off.
Was that the crash at Laurel Bank? My mate is marshalling near there and said he had hurt his leg and hand, but should be ‘ok’.
Back on TT Live again for day 3 hoping for yet more improvements. Sadly it's being presented by 2 women that don't seem to know much or be any good.
I wish programme makers wouldn't keep sticking token women up in front of camera. This isn't a sexist thing it's a lack of knowledge and skill thing!
It only works one way round. I never see token blokes that can't present and with no knowledge being in front of camera to present "girly" programmes.

I am fully expecting to be knackered when we get to heysham but hoping the excitement will drag us through! The way back will be more of a slog. I’ll be on my Gen 2 Tuono and my brother on a ‘22 speed twin so neither really ideal for hours on the motorway. I’ve had the tuono for over 6 years but maybe this is the time to get the rsv4 I’ve been hankering after as I find sports bikes more comfortable strangely

Just read that Dave Moffitt was in a smash. Conscious though and airlifted to hospital. Hope he recovers.
I'm surprised, although not sure why of someone doing 131 already on treaded tyres but goes to show that these boys are just on it, constantly.
The usual brigade in my friends and family have already started the "should be banned" pish. It's amazing.
Loved the 'blade doco as well - I wonder if there is data to relate road bike sales directly to the successes at the TT.
