Does anyone at all here like Harleys?

The frightening thing with electric vehicles is the amount of energy stored in the batteries .I'd not want to be near one after an accident..........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQH3mXJ1dmw

Yeah that’s why I mean by xr750 style fairing.
Shocks are not factory but we’re not talking anything dramatically different from factory. The later xr1200x came with adjustable piggyback rears, adjustable fronts and a blacked out engine.
There is a lot of money in parts there, but to me they are still simple bolt on and off bits.
Edit to add that’s the storz performance seat

XL883R with 1200 conversion and Storz, SuperTrapp, and Screamin' Eagle bits added by the previous owner.
Sounded fantastic with the 2 into 1, but he did have to remove some of the discs from the SuperTrapp silencer in order to quieten it down.

Lovely, a classic bike but gets the important bit Harley always fail, some decent brakes up front to stop!
That's the weird thing in North America, I've met so many people that don't/won't use the front brake at all, especially cruiser riders. They seem to perpetuate this myth that the front brake is dangerous, because their dad's brother's friend grabbed a handful in a corner once and binned it.I like Harleys, along with lots of other makes. Comparing a Harley with a modern sports bike is like comparing a Spitfire with a Eurofighter.. I like Harleys because they're 'old fashioned', a big simple, durable V twin, with lots of low end torque. They are fun to ride slowly, unlike modern super bikes which are boring at legal speeds.
Then again they are easy to work on, and to tune, its easy to double the HP of an Evo Harley, and the motors are so over engineered they can take the power increase with no problem.
My Evo road bike makes 130bhp / 150 lb/ft torque at the rear wheel, and it could make more.. the aftermarket bottom end is good for 210bhp. While my old drag bike, made 180 bhp at the rear wheel with 60hp of NOS.
And a more recent project

The 15.5kWh Livewire battery pack contains as much energy as 1.8 litres of petrol.bimsb6 said:
