Not been on the same roads with anything with an engine but I'd recommend Wrynose & Hardknott

I did this run today, thank you so much Jazoli that was probably the best road ride I’ve ever had.
I ended up doing Hartside 3 times (I did make a mistake I’ve never made before when I had a V4 Tuono behind me, a tightening corner and a little hot into it so ran on but I spoke to a couple of guys who were sat in a lay-by and they said many people had done that this morning, still annoyed me though!)
I would say there were definitely other parts of the route that were just as good as Hartside although I can’t think where off the top of my head!

I raised the forks through the yokes a bit this morning and it transformed the bike, I love having loads of weight on the front like on my track bike but always felt the Tuono didn’t feel too planted despite handling very well, this has improved it no end, not sure why I hadn’t done it before in 5 years of ownership!

A little windy on one of the open high up passes but otherwise good weather.

I ended up doing about 150 miles, went via Ullswater for an ice cream in the sun before the 350 mile slog home in the van. I ache now!

No worries, I'm lucky these roads are on my doorstep, there's loads of great routes round here smile

I did this exact route this Saturday. Had decent weather and I have to say the Husky loved it (me too)! Great road loop, so thanks again for the recommendation.
