A picture a day... biker banter (Vol 6)
Discussion
Had a ride up the local mountain - freezing -2°C up there. Was dressed for the valley, but 780m elevation difference meant it got a lot colder on the way up. Bike's battery did fine (73km spirited driving town and country, 29% left on return), but the telephone battery died at the peak - 70% gone in one hour with GPS and BT music.

First proper ride of the year - if you can call an hour including a fuel stop a proper ride.
Neck already aching, but chicken strips are as small at start of this season as they were at the end of last years riding.
New levers so I’ve got work to do on my clutch and shift blending.
Looks great but I don’t recognise it? Is it a KTM?Neck already aching, but chicken strips are as small at start of this season as they were at the end of last years riding.

Been 10+ months since I've ridden my lil 250
This is up there as one of my favourite bikes alongside my maico 490s
Passed MOT easy put a full tank of the super unleaded stuff and then proceeded to create a blue haze all the way down my local arterial as it cleared it's lungs - Greta would've been proud
There is something special about these. They go like stink, they make everything smell and just make me feel like a teenager again
Love the sight, sound and smell of a 2T.. sod Greta I had a Kawasaki KR-1 and Suzuki RGV and loved them both. Brilliant little bikes! This is up there as one of my favourite bikes alongside my maico 490s

First ride out since my dad passed away 3 weeks ago.
Difficult, as we almost always rode together, not quite the same stopping for a coffee on your own and no post ride chat.
Nice to get some head space though with everything going on.

Got a parcel from Jakarta, so now have a CD-sized floating disc for my ST70 > ST 175 conversion.
I would have liked a more "classic, round, drilled" disc but hey, glad that I found this one.
Only available with anodized tat buttons but they almost match the Honda candy blue.
I cut the useless "brake drum casting" to clear the brake caliper
and filled the remaining hole with a handmade DiBond cover.
Fork is a mix of 6V yokes with 30mm China legs as I want a "stock-ish" look,
keep the folding handlebars and steering lock.
