My local KTM dealer had a cracking deal on an old stock 890 Duke, £7999 for a 2022 newly registered for me on a 23 reg.

So it's out with the Tuareg, fantastic bike but a bit wasted on me as I'll never use it off road.

I really like the Taureg styling, it has a similar engine to my RS660 but tuned for torque IIRC.

I keep looking at the Superduke R 1260 now though.

Stopped through Cochem during last weekend’s trip to Anlassen at the Ring. Poor weather the first 3 days, but the sun came out the Monday as we left.

Very scenic touring roads around Lahn and Moselle!

Sorry to here that. I too went out for solo coffee (and tart) chilly ride. Got down to 2.5C, still quite a bit of snow around.

Bob, what tyres do you have on this and are they much compromised on tarmac?

Took my mum, aged 80 and recently widowed, for her first ever pillion trip. 30 mins around mix of motorway, b roads & lanes.

"Great fun" was the verdict.

That’s brilliant clap It reminds me of the time when my Nan asked me to pick her up from my aunts house. I was 18 and had only passed my test the year before. Needless to say I rode my VF400F like I was on my riding test. Precious cargo.

First ride of the tweaked H2.

For me, its plain crazy, its brisk enough up to 7k revs.
Power and torque is relentless. Could be me being fooled as I havent ridden it for so long but it did feel lighter.

The remap has elminated the on/off throttle as well, worth every penny for that alone.

At 120 you usually start to leave your exhaust noise behind but these feels like your in your own nightclub sat next to the sound system.
I know my neighbour will hate it so its staying..
Does drown out the supercharger noise which isnt good but I cant change that , even with the baffle I think.

Great to be out on 2 wheels again.
