No bike photo again from yesterday. It hit a high of 9 degree's yesterday but no rain and dry roads. My old 125 ran perfectly. When I arrived home I found the Mrs had seized the lawn mower.

Oh balls, hope your bearing up ok… just race off and buy another

My Brother in law has a small bearing puller, I'm heading off to his in an hour or so. I tried with my teeth but all I succeeded in doing was chipping a front one.

Warm, but a bit wet and muddy this weekend. I stalled it on this incline, and my boots had no grip whatsoever, so I fell over! and then again a couple of times when I picked it up, doh! MX boots have very smooth soles which are useless in mud.

AND the rear fender fell off, torn away by the weight of the mini-tool kit. I'm going to have to bolt it on differently.

I'm looking to get AS Tech 7 Enduro boots, are there any other dirt bike boots with a good grippy sole?

My Mrs is not allowed near any tools, she does fook all. She proudly announced once she had mowed the lawn frown I came home to find the grass looked the same as when i left it, she had used the mower in service mode on its highest setting, the blades never touched the grass.

I'm amazed she even started the machine, no damage done so all good. In case anyone's interested I also clean the house , fook me I remember my mum doing all this, how times have changed for the modern man drink

Now you know what separates mx and enduro boots biggrin
I have always had AS Tech series boots as they have always been excellent and I view boots like helmets, a critical safety item.
Currently running Tech 7 Drystars as the waterproof element appealed given the amount of water around here. So far absolutely no issues other than only being able to get the black and gold 70's p*rnstar looking variant ut style was never a strong suit.....
As for the tool kit, I would recommend mounting it on the front fender under the headlamp or on a strap around the headlamp and bars.... the back and front should be for recovery straps bolted to the lower fork clamp and rear subframe for wrestling the bike out of tricky spots

Thanks smile

I quite liked how the last one kinda flew under the radar, but grey man on a grey bike was getting a bit tired, I'm not dead yet. Many happy miles start next Thursday.... hope to have some interesting pics.

Went for a long ride to the new forest on Saturday. Test ride a Guzzi Mandello.

Boxhill on Sunday, was cold and wet.

What did you think of the Mandello? I really fancied it but found it too compact.

She has been running that on full boost at the redline, looks like left bank is lean.

It was pretty good. Cracking engine. Great relaxed riding position. Definitely a contender when I change bikes in a few years.

It's back up and running now, not sure for how long. May be time for a new One.
